Making and paying for a Reservation

At the time of booking we will ask you for card details to confirm your reservation which will be stored securely online by Stripe©. Before you arrive, only payments you have authorised (deposit and any payment towards the balance) will be taken from your card. If either you cancel at short notice or fail to turn up, further payment may also be taken, according to our Cancellation Policy (below). Otherwise, the balance will be requested when you arrive. 

Deposit
For all bookings made we request a deposit equal to 25% of the total cost of the whole booking. Once paid, a receipt will be sent to you confirming your booking.

Cancellation Policy
To protect ourselves against “no shows” we have a cancellation policy as follows:
In the event of cancellation, no charge will be made and your deposit refunded, so long as written notification is received at least 7 days in advance of the date of stay.

To arrive at least 7 days prior to your stay. Otherwise a charge will be made as follows:

• Cancellation received between 3 and 7 days before arrival: a charge equivalent to your deposit will be made. However this may be refunded to you if the room is re-let.
• Cancellation received within 48 hours of stay: a charge will be made which is equivalent to the cost of the first nights’ stay. This may be refunded to you if the room is re-let.
• If cancellation is not received and you do not arrive: 100% of the entire booking will be charged and any payment you have made will be non-refundable.

In order to safeguard your situation, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance prior to booking.

Ensuite Rooms: We have a total of four ensuite rooms available: 
One room with Kingsize 4-Poster bed
One other room with King Size bed
A Twin room with full-size (3ft) Single beds
A Family room with one Double bed and a 3ft Single bed, with an optional second 3ft Single bed (which must be booked in advance). 

All of our rooms have ensuite shower rooms (except the Twin room), with wash basin and toilet. The Twin room has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over the bath, wash basin and toilet.  

Accessibility: All of our rooms are on the first floor and the house is not wheelchair accessible (please consider our access statement if you have any mobility problems).

Children: We accept children of all ages. There is no charge for a child up to the age of 3yrs, but only if sleeping in a cot. Children aged 3 to 11yrs are chargeable at 50% of the adult rate. Young people of 12 years and older are classed as adults.

Cots: We have one cot only, so if you require a cot, so please be sure to reserve this when booking. Please bring your own cot linen, and your own travel cot if ours is already booked.

Dogs: Sorry, we can only accept assistance dogs.

Smoking: For your comfort, safety and convenience we operate a strictly no smoking property. Anyone found to have violated this rule will have their card debited to cover the cost of deep-cleaning their room. Smoking is permitted outside, well away from doors and windows. Please do not leave cigarette butts behind.
