You will, of course expect due diligence from us in regard to the ongoing pandemic, and we want to reassure you that we will be taking all possible steps to ensure your safety during your stay here.
When you arrive we will meet you wearing a mask and will ask you to sanitise your hands when you come into the house. Please also wear a mask at this time.
Please also sanitise your hands whenever you return to the house; a bottle will be on the table by the door for your use.
After we have taken you to your room, we will remove our masks, but I will again wear one when I am serving food.
If, whilst you are staying here, you find that other guests are staying, we would ask you to wear masks when in their presence indoors (apart from when you are eating and drinking) and maintain a one metre(plus) distance from them. We will ensure you are socially distanced from other guests when seated in the dining room, or if this is not possible due to the number of guests, we will arrange staggered eating times. If no other guests are staying, masks and social distancing will only be necessary with ourselves.
We will sanitise all surfaces including door handles and stair rails, and we will be removing all loose objects in bedrooms and the dining room. This will include ornaments, cushions, extra bed drapes, books, magazines, leaflets and information packs, (but not the TV remote control in your room or dining room menu, both of which we will sanitise.)
We hope to be able to provide breakfasts as normally as we can, but if other guests are staying, as our self service buffet will not be possible, we can discuss your individual breakfast choices when you arrive.
We hope you will understand that we will not be offering a bedroom cleaning service (although bedrooms and bathrooms will of course be cleaned with sanitiser before you arrive.)
Our guest lounge will continue to be available for you to use; however please sanitise your hands upon entry. A bottle will be on the table by the door for your use.
We are really sorry that some of these measures may detract from the usual cosiness of our accommodation, however we hope none will cause offence and that you can accept them as unavoidable in the circumstances.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
